anthony wilson (tony)my dad died 4th november 2006 aged 67... he was a hard working miner all his
adult life... starting at chisnall colliery coppull moor then transfering to parkside colliery
newton-le-willows ..altogether he did 37years down the pit !! he was born and bred in coppull nr
chorley and lived there all his life.. starting from coppull moor lane followed by mill lane then
regent street .... he was one of six children.... anthony was married to my mum barbara for forty
three and a half years and had two children who they named warren (me) and joanne (my sister) and
three grandchildren ...gareth sophie and christie
dad became ill with cancer in 2003 which went into remission sadly the cancer came back two years
later.... again he fought but the cancer had got hold..... and there was nothing else anyone could
do for him....only make him comfortable which mum and joanne did with upmost dignity for dad and
heart felt pain for themselves knowing what dad was going through ... they managed to get him out
of hospital on the 2nd of november and brought him home were he wanted to be and so belonged !!....
they nursed him from begining to the very end... sadly dad died two days later peacefully in his
sleep god bless him xxxxxxx

I cant believe its 3yrs on the 4th of november.It still feels like yesterday you went to sleep and left us.I miss you so much and wish you was here so i could talk to you about my wedding. I know you cant be there on the day but i know you will be looking down at me from up there. And the reason i have decided to go away and get married is because you aren't there to give me away.Like you used to say to me "Look jo if your going to get married go away and do it so there you go!!!!Thats what i'm doing take care love you from your daughter joannexxxxxxxxxxxxx

me and jan was playing music last night and a song played we were both laughing... because you were sat in our living room one sunday and that song played... u kept saying is there something wrong with that song think i'ts stuck ..just a modern song dad xxx the song was called " the launch " xxxx

Been up to see you today.The weathers been horrible never stop raining "Its about right my day off".
Been to tesco to do our shopping with mum and rosie in the van to give it a run.Barrows keep talking about you especially norman he was speaking to mum the other day when he'd serviced my car.He always said when this happened to you that anything i wanted doing just ask.he said you've been missed at the garage and he miss's your chats and jokes.speak to you soon probably in my dreams love joanne and barbaraxxxx love alwaysxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
race for life 2009
dad wish you could of been here today to watch race for life jannette did 5k in 27 mins and came 23rd out of 2000 people she did so well and were all so proud of her she raised a good sum of money for cancer research..which is what it is all about missing you dad xxx warren
