anthony wilson (tony)my dad died 4th november 2006 aged 67... he was a hard working miner all his adult life... starting at chisnall colliery coppull moor then transfering to parkside colliery newton-le-willows ..altogether he did 37years down the pit !! he was born and bred in coppull nr chorley and lived there all his life.. starting from coppull moor lane followed by mill lane then regent street .... he was one of six children.... anthony was married to my mum barbara for forty three and a half years and had two children who they named warren (me) and joanne (my sister) and three grandchildren ...gareth sophie and christie
dad became ill with cancer in 2003 which went into remission sadly the cancer came back two years later.... again he fought but the cancer had got hold..... and there was nothing else anyone could do for him....only make him comfortable which mum and joanne did with upmost dignity for dad and heart felt pain for themselves knowing what dad was going through ... they managed to get him out of hospital on the 2nd of november and brought him home were he wanted to be and so belonged !!.... they nursed him from begining to the very end... sadly dad died two days later peacefully in his sleep god bless him xxxxxxx

Not been on for a while hope you are ok everybody here is doing fine.when are you going to visit.I know you visit me in my dreams but i would like to see you in person.So dont leave it to long.Going to the grave to see you tomorrow its my day off thank god had a few rubbish days at work nothing goes right.Mum and rosie miss you like crazy still say your name to rosie and say wheres tony and she looks at the door.thinking you are going to come in.We only need to rattle the van keys and she goes crazy,

sorry i havent wrote on here for a while, ive been busy with work and college, and also my boyfriend :). ill start with work first- i came off clothing becuase i didnt like it that much towards the end, but i got moved to checkouts and i love it on there the people i work with are so friendly, i still see our jo though, i tend to have my dinner with her every saturday, and without fail we always have a chat about you and my nan, im always thinkin about nan, but she is being very well looked after, also me and alex love her buttys :D. Well i am now on my level3 at college, and this is my last year then i will be a qualified hairdresser, with also a job at nanettes shop when i finish in may, so i will be doing quite well. i miss you grandad, it hurts to know that you aint here to watch me do all these things. but i know you will be looking down on me. yes i have a boyfriend and he is the most amazing boy i have ever had, he treats me well and puts up with me and my attitude lol, i know that you would of liked him alot, he's a good lad, also a grafter so thats ok haha. he looks after me, and i love him so much! well i better leave it at that and this time i do promise to write on here more often grandad. love and miss you more & more each day! them tears still role down my face, but i still have that smile on my face when i think of our memories. love you so much!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi dad,Been up to see you today with mum and took all the old flowers off and put new ones on. I can't believe its 4 years tomorrow i dont know where the time as gone.Lyn sends her love she asked me to put a plant on your grave for you.Hope you like it. hii grandad sophie here. 4 years tommorrow. what can i say?? i put a rose on your grave last week :) looked lovely. it does get easier you know. ive been up to see you today too. there isnt a day that goes by when i dont think of you. i think about you first thing in the morning and last thing at night. miss you so much. i dont understand why you had to leave us but it must be a good reason. i know your lookin down on us all every minute of each day. i'll come up tommorrow to see you and have a chat. love you loads sophie xxxxxxxxxx

71 TODAY DAD
Hi Dad,
I just want to say Happy 71st birhday dad for today.Me and mum went to the grave yesterday to see you.we put some flowers on also a picture of you and rosie in a frame.We did put 3 balloons on with sticks but 2 popped and then we was just left with 1.I think you was trying to tell us something.so i hope the other balloon didn't pop once we came away.
I wonder what you are doing on your birthday i bet you are either shooting because its shooting season again and if you arent doing that you will be fishing,Well one or the other anyway.

Hi dad,
Only a few days now before we set off to Australia.I know you will be there watching me. When i'm away take care of mum,I will ring her as often as i can.But the time difference is going to confuse me but i'm sure i will soon get used to it.Hope you are ok.And keeping busy. I havent been up to much recently only sorting all the arrangements out,I won't know what to do with myself when i get home.
As christie mentioned in her note she is now working at tesco on clothing she seems to be enjoying it.At least she is getting a bit of spending money.I have told her to look after mum when i'm away she said shes going to invite her for tea.That will be nice.
Lee says hello,he never knows what esle to say on here but i have told him before just write what you think,but he never does.Rosie is still as crazy has before but keeps mum company.Shs talks to it like a human being.Well dad better go speak to you soon take care love joannexxxxxxxxxx
